IPL 2012 Venues
The IPL 2012 will be played at 12 venues – New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Dharamsala, Cuttack, Vizag, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mohali. In case Hyderabad is unable to host a few matches, Cuttack will get a chance.
IPL 2012 Teams
IPL 2012 (IPL 5) will feature nine teams (Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Daredevils, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Deccan Chargers, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Kings XI Punjab, Sahara Pune Warriors) and a total of seventy-six matches will be played from Wednesday, 4 April 2012, to Sunday, 27 May 2012.
The Final will be held in Chennai on May 27. The play-offs would be hosted by Bangalore and Chennai. Kochi Tuskers Kerala is not part of IPL 2012, as it was terminated by the BCCI.
