An initiative by id8 media solutions, World for All Animal Care & Adoptions (WFA) returned with their 2nd edition of Mumbai's biggest pet adoption drive this Sunday- the ADOPTATHON! Held in Bandra, this one-of-its-kind pet adoption fair witnessed over 80 Indian mixed breeds of puppy and kitten stray adoptions and a massive turnout of over a 1300 people who came in to show their support and provide a nice home to the little angels, including MP Priya Dutt who inaugurated the event.
Adoptathon 2012 also had a special celebrity panel which addressed WFA's noble cause of encouraging our city towards stray adoptions. The panel included Veteran Bollywood Actor Om Puri, Actor/Singer Meiyang Chang, Actor Rajat Barmecha, Singer Anushka Manchanda & Topmodel Diandra Soares. Also seen lending their support to this welfare association were prominent personalities and actors like Hema Malini, Director Amol Gupte, TV Actress Rupali Ganguly & Actress Shahzahn Padamsee who also intermingled with the adopters and the stray pets.
